Rainbow Montessori Learning Center is an innovative tuition-free public charter school opening for the 2025-26 school year, located in the Shepherd neighborhood in Columbus. Rainbow Montessori strives to serve a diverse urban population of students in grades PK4-8. The Montessori method of teaching is a proven model of education that has been used internationally with immensely successful results for over one hundred years. Some key components of Montessori are: 

 

  • Inclusive and innovative learning environments

  • Student-led, project-based learning

  • Focus on real world skills, including daily living skills and social-emotional learning

*We proudly offer a tuition-free Montessori education for Kindergarten to 2nd grade. Tuition is free for PreK4 families who qualify for Ohio’s Title XX child care assistance program. Our goal is to ensure that cost is never a barrier to excellent early education. For more information on tuition please submit inquiries through the contact form.
