Rainbow Montessori Community School is an innovative tuition-free public charter school opening for the 2025-26 school year, located in the Shepard neighborhood in Columbus. Rainbow Montessori strives to serve a diverse urban population of students in grades  PK3-8. The Montessori method of teaching is a proven model of education that has been used internationally with immensely successful results for over one hundred years. Some key components of Montessori are: 

 

  • Inclusive and innovative learning environments

  • Student-led, project-based learning

  • Focus on real world skills, including daily living skills and social-emotional learning

*We proudly offer a tuition-free Montessori education for Kindergarten to 2nd grade. Tuition is free for PreK families who qualify for Ohio’s Title XX child care assistance program or tiered tuition. Our goal is to ensure that cost is never a barrier to excellent early education. For more information on tuition please submit inquiries through the contact form.
